Why Is the Submit Button Greyed Out on the Prescription Page?

K
Written by Kai Becker

A greyed-out Submit button almost always means a required field is missing or incorrectly formatted. Work through this checklist:

Patient

  • The patient’s IHI Status must be green / Active (Verified). If not, open the patient record, correct the details and re-validate.

  • The mobile or email used for delivery must be present and correctly formatted – check for leading or trailing spaces.

Medication

  • A Drug Pack Detail must be selected.

  • If the item needs an authority, the authority code must be filled in.

  • For a custom preparation, the description must not be blank.

  • In a multi-script session, every open tab must be valid – not just the one you are looking at.

Then

Fix the flagged field and Submit re-enables. If everything looks correct, refresh the page (F5), then sign out and back in. If it is still greyed out, contact support@rxpad.com.au.
