I don't see the prescription information in consultmed after sending the script

If you’ve sent a prescription in RxPad but no summary appears in Consultmed, the most common cause is that the prescription was not initiated from Consultmed.

Why this happens

For the integration to work, the prescription process must start in Consultmed.

  • When you click "Send Script" from a patient’s record in Consultmed, the system activates the automatic transfer of patient and prescription data.

  • This integration sends the patient details to RxPad, allowing you to complete the prescription, and then automatically sends the script summary back to Consultmed.

If you start the prescription directly in RxPad, the integration is not activated, meaning Consultmed will not receive any prescription information.

How to fix it

  1. Always start in Consultmed

    • Open the patient record in Consultmed.

    • Click "Send Script" to launch RxPad with the patient data preloaded.

  2. Complete the prescription in RxPad as you normally would.

  3. Check the patient record in Consultmed, the prescription summary will appear automatically.
